Key Focus on Transportability of Health Records and Improving Literacy for the Patient

On October 14th at 10:45 a.m., Dr. David LaBorde, CEO, Iconic Data Inc., and Senior Advisor, DSS, Inc.; and Leonard Tambasco, Senior Consultant, Interoperability at DSS, Inc., will be giving a presentation titled, “Transportability of Health Records and Improving Literacy for the Patient.”

The presentation will discuss how the 21st Century Cures Act mandates unrestricted patient access to patient health information (PHI), and how new lifetime medical record solutions provide complete healthcare history in an organized format for providers, as well as improve patient satisfaction and decrease provider workloads.

These solutions also improve provider-patient relationships, and the accuracy of information for minimizing medication errors and duplication of lab and imaging testing. In addition, next-generation lifetime medical record solutions will leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance patient medical literacy to make provider visits more meaningful and valuable.
