HIMSS23 Recap: DSS Shares Vision of Being Catalysts for Innovation and Mission Critical Information Systems
It was great seeing our peers and attendees at HIMSS 2023 in Chicago last week. The event proved to be the ideal platform for showcasing how DSS is advancing new innovations and approaches in the federal care arena.
Our DSS Federal team focused on its vision for being “Catalysts for Innovation and Mission Critical Information Systems.” At the conference, this was further reinforced with SBG Technology Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of DSS, and King Street Technology Partners (KSTP), who all collectively showcased our joint forces as game changers in the information technology industry.
Following is a brief recap of what we accomplished last week:
We kicked off the week as thought leaders with our white paper on Technical Innovations Change Behavioral Health and Suicide Prevention Paradigm, gracing the HIMSS online presence in behavioral health.
On Monday, our team joined the GDIT HIMSS Networking Reception and met with many industry luminaries for a memorable night of inspiring, endless ideas around the value of innovating and serving.
On Tuesday, we were honored to present our subject-matter experts through a panel, Suicide Prevention in the Care Delivery Setting: Maximizing Reliability. The panel discussed how health care organizations like the VA can evaluate and evolve their operations to maintain high standards in patient care. This includes the use of technology and the opportunity for strong leadership and robust process to become a High Reliability Organization (HRO).
DSS is proud to be a health care catalyst that creates powerful, actionable insights that are the foundation of any federal health care mission.
